Joleigh Martin, 12, ambassador for Boutte River Region Lions Club and resident of Raceland, La., is one of three local children selected to have their photos in the National Down Syndrome Society’s Buddy Walk kick-off in New York.
There, Joleigh will go to New York representing Boutte River Region Lions Club as the group’s ambassador.
