Victoria Bryant was surrounded by friends and family alike when a surprise celebration luncheon was held in her honor on Aug. 8 for serving 20 years with the Arc of St. Charles.
Bryant is the exectuive director if the Arc of St. Charles and has dedicated the past two decades to providing service, advoicacy and support for the parish’s developmentally disabled and special needs population.
“The Arc of St. Charles would like to once again show our Executive Director Victoria Bryant gratitude for the services that she has and will continue render to this agency and that people that we support,” a flyer announcing the event read.
Included in the speakers at the celebration were Raven Labiche, program coordinator for the Arc of St. Charles, Arc of St. Charles Secretary Glynn Dale Seal. Members of the Arc of St. Charles Board including Preisdent Coi Landry and Treasurer Lynn Farlough were also on hand to provide words of encouragment as Bryant continues her career in helping those in the parish on a daily basis who need it the most.
Vice-president of the Arc of St. Charles Board, Donnie Hill, blessed the meal that was served at the function.
Other speakers included Bryantt’s mother Ella Coleman, Arc employee Randy Stevenson, who also serves as pastor of the New Millenium Community Church and Bryant’s husband Gregory Bryant.
In her closing remarks to the gathered crowd Bryant thanked all of those who had helped her out along the way as well as those yet to help the Arc of St. Charles complete their mission.
