Bobby Vinet, an eighth-rader at Albert Cammon Middle School, was awarded the 2015 Cox Hero Award.
On April 28, Vinet received this honor at an awards breakfast ceremony held at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner.
Vinet, with his family beside him, was selected to receive this award because of his willingness to strive for excellence.
He has demonstrated that with determination and support he, as a Cammon Pirate, will always achieve success.
