475 jars of peanut butter, $916 collected at parish parades

Many needy people benefited from the generosity of residents in St. Charles Parish.

During the recent Luling and Des Allemands parades, St. Charles Parish Hospital organized the annual Peanut Butter Drive for St. Charles Parish Social Concerns.

Hospital employees accompanied “Mrs. Peanut” in both parades, collecting donations of peanut butter and money along the way.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the hospital was able to collect 475 jars of peanut butter and $916 in cash.  The Peanut Butter Drive was a great success and St. Charles Parish Hospital would like to thank everyone who donated for making this event a wonderful success.
