The CHEF of St. Charles 4H group volunteered at the 2nd Harvest Food Bank on Oct. 30. CHEF of St. Charles is a home school support group in St. Charles Parish.
They sorted through boxes of donated food and discarded the spoiled items. Then they repacked the food in boxes to be distributed to local charities.
This activity was the first of their monthly Community Service Projects for this school year. Members participating were Sarah Theall, Laura Theall, Emma Theall, Mary Johns, Nathan Bourgeois and Nicholas Bourgeois.
