Fratelli’s Italian Grille is coming to Luling.
The restaurant will be located at 12715 U.S. 90 Suite 140 in Luling, where Thompson’s Seafood was previously located before closing earlier this year.
While restaurant owners declined to offer an opening date, this will be the family-owned business’ fourth location, with others in Baton Rouge, Slidell and Prairieville.
Fratelli’s Italian Grille of Prairieville was established in 2017. The restaurant’s website notes its goal is to offer a true Italian dining
experience and ambience, and also that all dishes are made to order and are made with the freshest ingredients.
The restaurant’s menu includes broad selections of pizza, pasta, hot subs, veal, seafood, steaks and desserts.
Some more specific offerings include ribeye marsala, lobster ravioli, Sicilian marsala, veal parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, baked ziti, spaghetti and crawfish and shrimp fettuccine alfredo.
There is also a wine list with an extensive selection.
While hours for the Luling edition of the restaurant are not yet announced, the Prairieville location is closed on Monday, open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Fratelli’s assumes a location that previously housed two different seafood restaurants.
Atchafalaya Seafood Company was open there for two years before closing its doors in early 2022. Thompson’s Seafood and Bar took over following Atchafalaya’s departure and opened its doors in March of 2022. It was the second restaurant for second restaurant for Shawn Thompson and Kristen Romback, as it joined their Thompson’s Kitchen restaurant in Port Sulphur.
Thompson’s Seafood ceased operations this year, with its social media citing a permanent closure.
