The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on its Facebook page this afternoon that authorities are currently investigating a double shooting that occurred on Gassen Street in Luling.
Officials with the office said that both subjects sustained gunshot wounds to their legs and are being treated at a local area hospital for their injuries.
This is still an active investigation. A suspect that was believed to have been involved in the incident is in custody.
Citizens are asked to avoid commuting on Gassen Street for the time being.
