Arrests
•Cory J. Castille, 46, of 21 Goldenrod Drive in Waggaman, was arrested on Oct. 11 and charged with D.W.I. and disturbing the peace.
•Julio Carpio-Castillo, 32, of 488 Westmeade Drive in Gretna, was arrested on Oct. 11 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Juan Saavedra, 42, of 4217 Bordeaux Drive in Kenner, was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with worthless checks $100-$500.
•Marty Hernandez Jr. 19, of 315 Lafille St. in Paradis, was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with theft under $300.
•Dirk Jones, 35, of 1609 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace, was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with worthless checks over $500, display plate and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
•Gregory Kelly, 35, of 200 Sunset Court 71 in Hahnville, was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with theft $300-$499, domestic abuse, battery, unauthorized use of a movable and aggravated assault.
•Sean Hood, 20, of 7800 St. Charles Ave. A in New Orleans, was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with D.W.I., possession of Marijuana, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, speeding and failure to dim headlights.
•Lionel Brown Sr., 58, of 539 S. Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with D.W.I., ignoring a traffic control signal, open alcohol container in vehicle and renewal registration.
•Jose Rodriguez, 22, of 1114 W. Clarendon St. in Dallas, Texas, was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation of a motor vehicle and driver not licensed.
•Jessica Seghers, 25, of 135 Asphodel Drive in Luling, was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation of a vehicle and driver’s license not on person.
•Moses Knightshead, 30, of 1 Stonesthrow Drive in Houma, was arrested on Oct. 11 and charged with D.W.I., failure to dim headlights and not driving on right side.
•Wendell Frederick Jr., 25, of 2785 N. Highland in Gretna, was arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with theft over $500 and attempted theft.
•Jeanette Borchard, 36, of 310 Oak St. in Norco, was arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with possession and distribution of legend drug, expired MVI sticker, no seat belt in use and no registration.
•Michael M. Thompson, 35, of 1275 Boyce Drive in Mobile, Ala., was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with D.W.I., improper control of vehicle and driver not licensed.
•Troy Champion, 24, of 473 Estay Lane in Paradis, was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with D.W.I. (2nd offense) and parking in a handicap space.
•Leigh A. Jeffers, 22, of 501 Lauve Lane in Luling, was arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with 2nd degree battery.
Theft
•A lawn blower and weed wacker, total value of $380, were stolen from 221 Riverwood Drive in St. Rose on Oct. 11.
•A DVD/AV receiver, total value of $750, was stolen out of a vehicle at 17000 River Road in Taft on Oct. 11.
•A 2003 Honda 4-wheeler, total value of $2,000, was stolen from 376 Evangeline Road in Montz on Oct. 11.
•Assorted tools and four life jackets were stolen from 10093 Highway 90 in Luling on Oct. 11.
•A 2006 Honda 4-wheeler, total value of $4,000, was stolen from 164 Evangeline Road in Montz.
•A 2004 Honda 4-wheeler, total value of $2,696, was stolen from 18116 River Road in Montz on Oct. 14.
•A push mower, two weed eaters and a blower, total value of $1,146, were stolen from 129 Gassen St. in Luling on Oct. 14.
•A hand gun, iPod and GPS, total value of $800, were stolen out of a vehicle at 2 Bronco Lane in St. Rose on Oct. 14.
•A car stereo, hand bag, assorted IDs and a sub woofer, total value of $612, were stolen out of a vehicle at 16302 River Road in Norco on Oct. 14.
