Arrests

• Gary Barrient, 28, of 329 Norco St. in Norco, was arrested Dec. 16 and charged with remaining after forbidden. He had an attachment and was a fugitive.
• Courtney Backes, 32, of 17033 Peace Point Drive in Springfield, LA, was charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine. He was a fugitive.
• Haven Williams, 18, of 300 River Ridge Drive in Boutte, was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with domestic abuse battery involving strangulation with child endangerment and simple assault.
• Demorial Hicks, 39, of 14 Jasmine Lane in St. Rose, was arrested Dec. 9 and charged with simple burglary of a motor vehicle.
