Arrests
•Robert J. Thomassie, 32, of 616 Kinler St. in Luling, was arrested on Dec. 31 and charged with D.W.I., improper control of vehicle, no MVI sticker, and needed renewal of registration.
•Simmon A. Tassin, 23, of 2715 Kansas Ave. 6 in Kenner, was arrested on Jan. 1 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•William A. Savoie, 29, of 89 Carriage Lane D in Destrehan was arrested on Dec. 31 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, hit and run, obstructing public passage and driver not licensed.
•Jeremy L. Maroney, 29, of 2011 Illinois Ave. in Kenner, was arrested on Dec. 31 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Glenn R. Hughes Sr., 48, of 156 E. 37th St. in Cut Off, was arrested on Dec. 31 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Wilbert Celestine, 31, of 13166 U.S. 90 in Boutte, was arrested on Jan. 3 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and suspended driver’s license.
•Edmond A. Brown, 36, of 2412 Spain St. in New Orleans, was arrested on Dec. 30 and charged with D.W.I., obstructing public passage and needed renewal of registration.
•Evel Avaro Asabas-Arce, 22, of 13545 Namos St. in New Orleans, was arrested on Dec. 31 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, speeding and driver not licensed.
•Christopher Ross, 18, of 319 Lily St. in Boutte, was arrested on Jan. 4 and charged with 2nd degree battery.
•Edwin J. Alexander, 42, of 1774 Paul Maillard Road in Boutte, was arrested on Dec. 30 and charged with cruelty to animals (2 cts.), pit bull registration (2 cts.), dogs on tethers (2 cts.), breeder registration required (2 cts.) and rabies vaccine required (2 cts.).
•Robert E. Cooper, 38, of 2816 Salem St. in Kenner, was arrested on Jan. 4 and charged with SCH I distribution/WTD of a CDS – Marijuana, suspended driver’s license, disregarding stop sign and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Jason F. Zeringue, 32, of 308 Court St. in Luling, was arrested on Dec. 30 and charged with possession with intent SCH IV – Clonazepam, possession of a CDS IV – Carisoprodol, possession of Methamphetamine, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest by violence, not staying in a single lane of traffic and stop/turn signal required.
•Chadlin Hall, 24, of 343 Goodhope St. in Norco, was arrested on Jan. 3 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Precious Love Green, 28, of 728 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on Jan. 5 and charged with possession of SCH IV – Phentermine Hydrochloride, simple battery (2 cts.) and disturbing the peace.
Theft
•Unknown subjects vadalized the Pepsi machine and the Red Box DVD rental machine at 12125 U.S. 90 in Luling on Dec. 31.
•Ten Saints shirts, total value of $300, were stolen from 13001 U.S. 90 in Luling on Dec. 30.
•Assorted copper and 10 cast metal air tanks were stolen from 2 Canyon St. in St. Rose on Dec. 31.
•A 9mm pistol, total value of $450, was stolen from 102 Hurst Court in Destrehan on Jan. 2.
•A 20” boy’s bicycle was stolen from 200 Short St. in New Sarpy on Jan. 2.
•Assorted jewelry and tools were stolen from 316 Santa Cruz in Luling on Jan. 4.
•Copper was stolen from a business at 11698 LA 48 in St. Rose on Jan. 3.
•Two shot guns and two gun sleeves, total value of $1,760, were stolen out of a vehicle at 238 Destrehan Drive in Destrehan on Jan. 3.
