A New Orleans man has been reported dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head at 6:46 p.m. (Nov. 19) in Hahnville.
Responding to a call about gunshots and a vehicle in a ditch, St. Charles Parish deputies found Sidney A. Holmes, 42, of New Orleans in his vehicle in a ditch on Smith Street, according to the Sheriff’s office.
Holmes was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. His vehicle was still in drive and the keys in the ignition when deputies answered the call.
The incident is under investigation.
