Here’s the rundown from the Sheriff’s Office:

A 33-year-old woman reports that she went to the Spur Station on Hwy 90 in Luling to purchase cigarettes and drinks.

Upon returning home at approximately 5:30 A.M. – and while entering her apartment near the 100 block of Lakewood Drive – an unknown male in a maroon mini-van stopped and asked her for directions to Slidell.

The man apparently followed the victim from the Spur Station. The victim said that she invited him in while she wrote down the directions.

She then offered the suspect something to drink. Upon returning from the kitchen, the man, she says, she noticed that has a gun. He ordered her out of the apartment and into his mini-van.

Once inside, the man struck the victim with the gun and assaulted her. After driving around the Luling area, the man brought the victim back to her residence where he took her computer and cash.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 25 years of age, short black hair, medium build, with medium skin tone.

Subject was wearing blue denim shorts, a t-shirt, and a hooded sweatshirt or jacket. This incident is under investigation.
