Dentist Spotlight – Sweet Tooth Dental

Sweet Tooth Dental’s practice philosophy goes beyond typical dental care by educating patients on oral health and prevention of disease. The goal of their practice is to help their patients keep their natural teeth for life.

“We are a family dental practice looking to make a difference in the lives and overall health of our patients.

I believe in our philosophy, because I have seen it work for years,” said Dr. Gretchen Juncker Ferraro, dentist and owner. “People are important and when we take time to spend with them, they see how much they are valued in our practice.”

Juncker Ferraro strives to partner with people who wish to transform the quality of their lives and pursue a lifetime of overall health and wellness.

“Proper education is so important with today’s patient because it can be the catalyst between poor health and optimum health,” she said.

She works with associate dentist, Tara Gilpin Brindis, who joined the practice in November 2014. They offer a wide range of dental services including: professional teeth cleanings, teeth whitening, white cosmetic fillings, porcelain crowns and veneers, root canal therapy, cosmetic smile makeovers, dental partials and dentures, and dental implant crowns.

“Without a true understanding and knowledge of disease prevention, we will continue to see people’s oral heath deteriorate,” she said. “In order to help patients understand this, we dedicate an exceptional amount of time and energy with each patient during their visit. With the appropriate amount of time and use of state-of-the-art equipment, the patients are able to see and understand their diagnosis and recommended treatment.”

Juncker Ferraro, who has practiced family dentistry for nine years, said she chose dentistry as her profession because she loves people and relationships.  She wants to help her patients achieve optimum oral health and live a healthier lifestyle.

“Our patients are important to us,” she said. “Another aspect of our practice philosophy is personal touch.”Juncker Ferraro said each patient has a story.

“We take our time to get to know our patients personally, their stories and their desires for their oral health,” she said. “When you really listen to people, their stories are about a lot more than just teeth. I believe this is what sets us apart from other dental practices. We invite them into our family, love and care for them, and help them in any way that we can.”

Sweet Tooth Dental provides family dental care to patients of all ages in a caring and compassionate environment. Patients range from 1-year-old to 95 years old. Their professional staff helps educate patients so that they can work together to provide optimum long-term dental health. The approach is working.

“Since opening the practice in this location three years ago, we have been blessed with tremendous growth,” Juncker Ferraro said. “Most of our new patients are referred to our office by existing patients and this is the best complement anyone could ever give us.”
