American Legion Post 131 will hold the “Mr. Charlie Oubre Jr.” Memorial Blood Drive with the Ochsner Blood Bank on Aug. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 103 Milling Ave., Luling. Eat a healthy meal before donating, individuals taking medications for high blood pressure and cholesterol can donate. Bring a photo ID. All donors receive a special N.O.
