Arrests
• Wilbert Joseph, 62, was arrested March 18 in Luling and charged with theft-shoplifting.
• Russell Sanders Jr., 30, was arrested March 17 in New Sarpy and charged with battery of a dating partner – minor injury, telephone communication – improper language and harassment.
• Suzie Hernandez, 21, was arrested March 14 in Boutte and charged with domestic abuse battery – child endangerment.
• Wardell Jefferson, 51, was arrested March 16 in Boutte and charged with animals running at large, disturbing the peace-appearing in an intoxicated condition and resisting an officer.
• Elton Johnson, 43, was arrested March 14 in St. Rose and charged with battery of a dating partner-minor injury. He had an attachment and was a fugitive.
