It is with deep sorrow and enduring love that we remember Dean Samuel Bird, who was born in Metairie, LA on November 26, 1978 and entered into eternal rest on July 20, 2025 at the age of 46. Dean grew up in Destrehan, LA and resided in New Orleans at the time of his death. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Ann Bird, brother Darren N. Bird, nephew Alexander Riecke, grandparents Irvin Carmouch, Gladys Carmouch, Samuel Bird, Jr., and Naomi Bird.
Dean is survived by his father, Daniel G. Bird (Gail), his brother Daniel G. Bird, Jr. (Chris), niece Reagan Bird as well as aunts and uncles and many cousins.
As a young man he loved the outdoors enjoying hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment and every memory shared with them through the years. Dean has a special talent to tell humorous stories and loved to make people laugh. He had a kind heart and loving personality and was loved by many. He had an easy, warm smile and whenever you would see him walking towards you, you could expect a huge hug and when he left, you would surely hear a sincere. “ I love you”.
