The Friday night lights will be put on hold this week.
Due to Hurricane Francine, Destrehan has seen its matchup with Bonnabel rescheduled from tonight to Sunday at noon at Wildcat Stadium, while Hahnville’s matchup with McMain has been cancelled.
Hahnville head coach Greg Boyne said Friday the team has sought a replacement opponent but has been unable to find one. The Tigers will likely have to wait another week to attempt to secure their second win after a 42-6 victory at home over Booker T. Washington in Week One.
Destrehan, meanwhile, will still have its chance to move past a dramatic 23-20 Week One loss at home to Catholic-BR, when it takes on the Bruins in Sunday afternoon action.
