Blood drive for firefighter’s mom

HAHNVILLE - The Hahnville Fire Department is inviting the community to rally their support for fellow firefighter Chris Boros’ mother, Susan Santangelo, by donating blood in her name at the department on Saturday, Feb. 7. Santangelo has severe bleeding and is using blood on a regular basis.

Donors must be in good health, weigh a minimum of 100 pounds and be at least 17 years old. Donors are also encouraged to eat a healthful meal prior to and after donating.
