It's 10 o'clock on Tuesday night and I have yet to finish my weekly column. And it's not that I have nothing to say or don't want to write, I just can't get my thoughts in order long enough to form a complete sentence. By the morning it'll be time for the newspaper to go to press and I will have been on deadline for almost 24 hours.

Hazel Marie Foreman, age 77, on Sept. 19, 2007 at 8 a.m. Native of St. Charles Parish and a resident of Luling. Visitation and religious service was held on Friday, Sept. 21 at Holy Family Church in Luling. Burial was held at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale. Survived by two sons, David and wife Jan of Boutte, and William and wife Paula Foreman of Houma; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband Henson Foreman; parents Maurice and Eldia Broussard Simon; sister Euna Arceneaux. Hazel was a perishoner of Holy Family Church.
