Nutcracker auditions


ST. CHARLES PARISH - The River Region Ballet will hold auditions for all roles in this year’s production of “The Nutcracker” on Sept. 12.

Auditions will be held at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center in Norco from noon to 12:30 p.m. for girls 6-9 years old, boys, and adult party scenes; and from 12:30-1:30 p.m. for girls 10-12 years old.
Auditions will be held at Images Dance Studio in Destrehan from 2-3:30 p.m. for dancers 13 years old and above.

Dancers must be intermediate to advanced level and female dancers must audition on pointe.

The audition fee is $10 and all dancers must sign in a half hour prior to audition time. A responsible adult must be present. Performances will take place on Dec. 11 and 12.
