Parents urged to visit open house

BOUTTE - Hahnville High School will hold its open house on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. where parents can meet the HHS faculty and administration and visit their child’s classes. Teachers will be in their classes to give parents and guardians a brief overview of the materials that will be covered in their classroom.

Parents and guardians should bring a copy of their child’s schedule with them.

The school will also hold a parent night for the different grade levels on the following dates:

- Freshman and sophomore night is Sept. 3 at 6:30.

- Junior night is Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m.

- Senior night is Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m.

During these nights, the counselors will be sharing information concerning the Satellite Center, testing, graduation and TOPS requirements, scholarships, college applications, study skills, financial aid, career clusters and many more topics.
