DESTREHAN, La. – The River Region Ballet will hold open auditions for the 2006-2007 season for dancers ages 7 and up on Sat., Sept. 9. This year, RRB will perform its annual production of “The Nutcracker” in December and a mixed bill spring concert titled “Celebrating Diverse Cultures” in March to commemorate St. Charles Parish’s bicentennial year. New Orleans natives Eleanor Bernard Carney and Ian Carney will perform with the company as guest artists this year.
