In honor of my grandfather’s 68th birthday, my family and I traveled to McNeil, Miss. for a fun-filled day complete with aunts, uncles, cousins and a steaming pot of my dad’s boiled crawfish.

The Saints Board of Realtors recently held its annual awards Gala at the Jerusalem Temple in Destrehan. Current SBR President, Dana Bonette was the mistress of ceremony, 2007 Realtor of the Year, Judy Songy delivered the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Last year’s SBR President, Angelle Songy presented the 2007 awards to the following recipients.

I am 26, a college graduate and in the beginnings of a great career. I am not married (yet) and have no children. However, I do live with my fiance, Sean, who works for a contractor at Dow Chemical. And together we make what used to be considered a decent living.

Teresa, pictured above, is a 1-year-old black and white female domestic and medium-haired cat. She and her four kittens came into the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter on March 5. All of her kittens have been adopted, but Teresa is still in need of a home.
