The annual Bayou Gauche Fishing Tournament was held the last weekend of April with a total of three groups competing for first place.
Camp Donnaud, Camp Norfleet and Camp Zeringue competed in the following four categories: biggest bass, biggest perch, biggest redfish and the biggest sac-a-lait.
All four first place awards were won by Camp Donnaud which consists of the following fishermen: Gerald Donnaud, Mitchell Donnaud, Michael “Batman” Batusic, Mark Coffee, Johnny Buckley and Sean McDermitt.
So what did the guys win? Well, they got to keep their catches of the day and bragging rights until next year.
