Emerson Louise Dean

Emerson Louise Dean passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 17, 2019 surrounded by her parents, siblings, and family. Emmy was born on Christmas Eve in 2008 and has been the joy of her family ever since. She is the precious and only daughter of Britten Joseph Dean, Sr. and Barbara-Louise Bosworth Dean. Cherished sister of Britten Joseph Dean, Jr., Jax James Dean, and Kohen John Dean. Granddaughter of Lisa Robert Dean (Omar Meija), the late Roland Joseph Dean, Sr., Arthur John Bosworth, III, and Barbara Gutierrez Bosworth. Great Granddaughter of Ricardo M.A. Gutierrez (the late Manuela Castedo Gutierrez), Margaret Gambino Schieffler (the late Fred James Schieffler), Jeanette Robert (the late Russell Robert), the late Arthur John Bosworth, Jr., and the late Louise Nix Bosworth. Niece of Shea Lynn Dean, Roland Joseph Dean, Jr. “Sonny” (Wendy), Arthur John Bosworth, IV, Richard Luis Bosworth (Fara), and William Howard Bosworth. Godchild of Elizabeth Alice Bosworth, Jennifer Louise Ranatza, Jordan Michael Champagne, and Richard Luis Bosworth. Cousin of David Christopher Ducote, III, Addison Margaret Dean, Isabella Rose Dean, Luke Icarus Bosworth, and Leia Louise Bosworth. In addition, she is survived by many great uncles, great aunts, other cousins, and friends. Emmy was a native and lifelong resident of Luling, Louisiana and she was a student at Lakewood Elementary School. A funeral mass will be held on January 23, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Lane in Luling, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. until mass begins. The family would like to thank Kelli, Delores, and Ike from Total Home Health of Southern Sportsman’s Social Club for their heartfelt efforts and generosity during Emmy’s life. Our Emmy’s relatively short life yielded GREAT and LASTING impressions on those that loved her most. Through her life her family and those around her were taught the TRUEST meaning of humility, shown the GREATEST example of patience, and experienced the PUREST form of unconditional love!

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Lane, Luling, LA.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am.  Interment, St. Charles Cemetery.
