Due to forecasted winter weather conditions, all St. Charles Parish public schools and offices will be closed tomorrow (Jan. 17).
All district and after-school activities for today, Tuesday, and tomorrow also are cancelled, according to schools spokeswoman Stevie Crovetto.
Schools hosting parent-teacher conferences will conduct them until 4 p.m. today. Anyone with a parent-teacher conference scheduled at 4 p.m. or later, it is cancelled for today (Jan. 16). Conferences for tomorrow, Wednesday, are cancelled. Schools will be contacting parents to reschedule at a later date.
Crovetto said any updates, if needed, regarding school operations will be communicated via the district’s messaging system (Blackboard Connect), Facebook, Twitter and the website.
