“This award is a testament to the hard work of our staff,” Herald-Guide Editor Jonathan Menard said. “Earning Newspaper of the Year would not have been possible without the input from this great community. We strive to bring attention to important issues in St. Charles Parish and we are grateful that our readers give us such interesting stories to tell.”

The Herald-Guide also finished in third place in the Best News Coverage category, while Menard captured first and second place in Best Sports Photo. He also received honorable mention in Best Headline and Best Sports Story.

St. Charles Parish businesses have diverse products and services. Our advertisers provide us with their marketing wants and needs which our graphic artists bring together as an ad that successfully conveys their message.”
