Thirty-four boats filled with more than 60 fishermen competed in this year’s Fishing for Frankie tournament, which was held in Luling. Cash awards were paid out to the top six teams and plaques were awarded to those who finished first, second, third and caught the biggest bass.

Great-grandmother to Kaci, Brittany, Jeremy, Jade, Jessica, Brandon, Dillon, Taylor, Maggie, Austin, Alex, Addison, Lainnie, Lauren, Landyn, Emma, Ella, Easton, Jared, Jordan, Jaxson, Noah, Noelle and Olivia.
Lucas Joseph Dipuma Jr., 49, was called by his Heavenly Father on Aug. 16 after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
