Fisher-Perrier joins Brown & Brown as insurance and risk advisor

Joins Gulf States team in New Orleans

Julia Fisher-Perrier has joined Brown & Brown Gulf States, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown Inc., as an insurance and risk advisor.

Fisher-Perrier, a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish, brings 10 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance and personal insurance arenas.

As a member of the St. Charles Parish Council for District 7 since 2012, she brings a special knowledge of the risk challenges of public entities and municipalities.

As part of the Brown & Brown team, she will work with clients to find the right solutions to their commercial insurance & risk management challenges.

Fisher-Perrier is a member of the Louisiana Police Jury Association and the National Association of County Officials. She is Chairman of the PJAL Wildlife and Fisheries Committee. She is a member of NACo’s Public Safety and Justice Steering Committee, and is also a member of NACo’s Next Generation.

She serves as president of the executive board and is a member of the St. Charles United Way Finance Committee.

Additional memberships include Regional Planning Commission; South Central Planning Commission; the Operations, Maintenance, and Construction Management Committee; Legislative Committee; Contract/Finance and Administrative Committee; Special Projects/Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee; and Hurricane Protection Projects Committee.
