Norco man arrested for ramming vehicle with car

Incident occurred following argument over woman

A Norco man was recently arrested after allegedly ramming his vehicle into the car of another man at the Norco Post Office.

Troy Salisbury, 41, of 631 Giacomo St., was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated criminal damage to property and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, the incident stemmed from a meeting between Salisbury and his girlfriend at the post office. When another man, and acquaintance of the female, arrived, Salisbury allegedly became angry.

The second man was described to police as the female’s “other boyfriend,” according to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. James Grimaldi.

Once the suspect saw the second male, Grimaldi said, the suspect apparently entered his vehicle and drove it into the other man’s car several times before parking and awaiting deputies’ arrival.
Salisbury was released from Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on bond.
