Luling gymnastics coach Jonathan West has been charged with 10 counts of sexual battery and two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
West, 26, a Kenner resident was located in Surge Trampoline Park in Metairie and arrested Thursday.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation May 30 when a child in Jefferson Parish reported West had touched him inappropriately in Jefferson Parish.
West worked as a gymnastics coach at Flipnastics in Luling and the boys were attending the gym for training, according to police reports.
Deputies are working with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office to determine if any incidents occurred in the parish.
