Sheriff’s Report – May 31, 2018

Arrests

  • Juan Galvan, 32, of 4868 Orleans Way Crown Pointe, was arrested May 23 and charged with resisting arrest by refusing to provide identification, obstruction of justice, fugitive from other agency, established speed zones, driver not licensed and renewal registration required.
  • Mitchell Beard, 33, of 107 Churchill Downs Drive in Montz, was arrested May 23 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, use of a firearm with CDS, felony carrying illegal weapon and possession of CDS in presence of someone under 17.
  • Eugene Paul, 56, of 1147 Oak Ave. in Bridge City, was arrested May 24 and charged with driving license suspended, no insurance, violation registration, determine minimum speed, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin.
  • Travis Joseph, 37, of 237 Good Children St. in Boutte, was arrested May 22 and charged with battery of a police officer, resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.
  • Treane Warner, 35, of 1022 Luling Estates Drive in Luling, was arrested May 22 and charged with two counts of child desertion.
  • Louis Duplechain, 67, of 3828 Main St. in Lottie, was arrested May 22 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Samantha Kemp, 26, of 4217 Hessmer Ave. in Metairie, was arrested May 22 and charged with possession of methamphetamine. She had an attachment.
  • Henry Caston, 39, of 344 Ash St. in Hahnville, was arrested May 21 and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was a fugitive (two counts).
  • Shawn Poursine, 45, of 210 Hollywood Park Drive in Montz, was arrested May 21 and charged with possession of marijuana (second offense), distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was a fugitive from another agency.
  • Donald Brown, 33, of 183 South Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested May 21 and charged with distribution of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Drew Franklin, 31, of 20075 Green Acres Drive in Destrehan, was arrested May 21 and charged with burglary of a moveable.
  • Corey Roy, 40, of 306C Terry Park in Terrytown, was arrested May 21 and charged with theft up to $750, theft $750 to $5,000 and forgery (two counts). He had an attachment.
  • Christian Collins, 41, of 122 Dianne Drive in St. Rose, was arrested May 19 and charged with domestic abuse battery (two counts) and resisting an officer by force or violence. He was a fugitive (three counts).
  • Richard Hubbard, 38, of 133 Anthony Drive in St. Rose, was arrested May 19 and charged with domestic abuse strangulation.
  • Ethan Rogers, 18, of 131 West B St. in Norco, was arrested May 20 and charged with possession of marijuana over 14 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hydrocodone.
  • Katie Lovell, 27, of 305 Carlos St. in Houma, was arrested May 18 and charged with driving on roadway laned for traffic, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He had an attachment.

Incidents

  • An unknown subject opened an AT&T account in the name of a Luling victim on May 22.
  • The paper prescription form and state issued identification card was stolen from a Killona victim on May 22.
  • A Hahn St. residence in Hahnville was burglarized and a television stolen on May 22.
  • A residence located on Lance Lane in Luling was burglarized and makeup, a television, hair styling items, a DVD player, Amazon tablet, perfume, miscellaneous change and prescription medication was stolen on May 21.
  • Tools were stolen from the garage of a Dunleith Drive residence in Destrehan on May 21.
  • A revolver was stolen from a vehicle parked on Old Spanish Trail in Boutte on May 21.
  • Several car batteries were stolen from a vehicle parked on Almedia Plantation Road in St. Rose on May 19.
  • A St. Rose victim received a counterfeit $20 bill on May 19.
  • A Smith and Wesson revolver was stolen from the bedroom of a victim’s Luling residence on Gassen St. on May 19.
