Sheriff’s Report – May 15, 2018

Arrests

  • Jamere Joseph, 345 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested May 3 and charged with second degree battery.
  • John Gautreaux, 38, of 14661 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis, was arrested May 3 and charged with second degree battery.
  • Donna Chaisson, 46, of 3207 Jackson Blvd. in Chalmette, was arrested May 3 and charged with writing worthless checks under $500.
  • Lakeshia Batiste, 29, of 809 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested May 3 and charged with home invasion.
  • Rusty Lee, 35, of 214 Central Ave. in Raceland, was arrested May 3 and charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted possession with intent to distribute Schedule II and illegal tinting of window.
  • Wilbert Celestine, 153 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested May 3 and charged with MDMA, Possession of Oxycodone and possession of Schedule II drugs. He had seven counts of being a fugitive from another agency.
  • Shawn Carroll, 21, of 128 Bonura Drive in St. Rose, was arrested May 2 and charged with display of plate, operating vehicle with suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule IV drug. He had an attachment and had three counts of being a fugitive from another agency.
  • Ron Dawson, 41, of 160 Bon Jovi Blvd. in Gray, was arrested May 1 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and failure to adhere to established speed zone.
  • Theresa Davis, 53, of 300 Johnson St. in St. Rose, was arrested April 30 and charged with possession of Schedule IV (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule II drugs. She had five counts of being a fugitive from another agency.
  • Salvatore Geraci, 52, of 2012 Roosevelt Blvd. in Kenner, was arrested April 30 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of phentermine, failure to adhere to general speed law and operating vehicle with a suspended license. He had two counts of being a fugitive from another agency.
  • Kelly Chiasson, 56, of 119 Carlin St. in Lafayette, was arrested April 29 and charged with possession of marijuana (second offense) and accessories after the fact.
  • Thane Rentrop, 39, of 340 Highway 663 in Morgan City, was arrested April 29 and charged with possession of marijuana (third offense) and accessories after the fact.
  • Michael Templet, 33, of 115 Becnel Lane in Thibodaux, was arrested April 29 and charged with possession of marijuana (first offense) and accessories after the fact.
  • Markeycia Harding, 24, of 1432 Magnolia St. in Slide,, was arrested April 29 and charged with speeding, possession of methamphetamine and use of firearm with CDS.
  • Kim Fonseca, 50, of 218 Ridge Road in Des Allemands, was arrested April 28 and charged with license plate illumination, expired driver’s license, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Brian Koontz, 43, of 223 Evelyn Drive in Luling, was arrested April 26 and charged with theft $750-$5,000, possession to distribute Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jeamie Deberry, 31, of 256 Schoolhouse Road in Killona, was arrested May 6 and charged with domestic abuse aggravated assault.
  • Gary Barrient, 26, of 128 Jane Lane in St. Rose, was arrested May 6 and charged with simple battery on the infirmed.
  • Megan Lassus, 34, of 109 Elizabeth Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested May 4 and charged with domestic abuse aggravated assault. She had an attachment.

Incidents

  • A burglary occurred at a Marcia Drive residence in Luling on May 1. Jewelry, a computer, medical supplies and a dog gate were stolen from the residence.
  • A Stihl Straight Shaft Weed Eater was stolen from a WPA Road Address in Des Allemands on May 1.
  • The business Simply Snow Inc. was burglarized on April 30 and a snowball machine, stainless steel microwave and stainless steel boiling pot were stolen from the business.
  • A license plate was stolen from a vehicle at an East Easy St. location in New Sarpy on April 27.
  • A vehicle was burglarized at a Carolyn Drive residence in Destrehan on April 27 and a purse containing prescription medication was stolen.
  • A generator was stolen from a construction site on Evangeline Road in Montz on April 27.
