This week’s St. Charles Humane Society’s showcase pet is Akira.
“Akira is a 2-year-old female Husky with sweetness beyond belief. She was found as a stray and no one ever claimed her. It would be best that she is adopted by someone who already has a husky because they are playful and very sharp. Akira entertains the shelter staff but she truly needs a forever home to call her own, ” said
Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society.
The shelter is at 921 Rue Cannes in Luling. It is open Monday – Friday and on Saturdays 8 a.m. – Noon. Save a Life. Adopt a Pet.
