Harris Joseph “TEE TEE” Perkins, passed away Tuesday evening Aug. 15, 2017, at the age of 65. He was a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Slidell.
Harris was an antique car collector, and liked working with heavy equipment. Loving husband of Eleanor Barrone Perkins, for 29 years; devoted father of Christina Perkins Carter, Patricia
Perkins (Eric) Blakely and Christopher Perkins. Stepfather of Louis Ochoa and Christopher Ochoa. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Eva V. Perkins; stepfather, Whitney Bonvillain; sister Judy Perkins Cortez and three brothers: David Perkins, Ernest “Chooky” Perkins and Alan Perkins.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at Life Fellowship Community Church, 2671 LA 306, Des Allemands.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. until service time provided by Stephen Simon. Immediately following the service, a gathering of family and friends will be held at 309 Mark St., Des Allemands.
