Sheriff’s Report 3-30-2016

Arrests

• Quina Bennett, 29, of 4343 Denham St. in Baton Rouge, was arrested March 20 and charged with use of firearm with CDS, possession of marijuana and possession of Schedule I.
• Taylor Fontenot, 22, of 337 Garden View St. in Houma, was arrested March 20 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute paraphernalia.
• Sarah Lester, 21, of 113 Bernard St. in Ama, was arrested March 20 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute paraphernalia.
• Jovante Wells, 24, of 740 Hoover St. in New Sarpy, was arrested march 21 and charged with violation of parole, resisting an officer, vagrancy loitering street, illegal carrying of weapons, felony carrying of illegal weapon and resisting arrest by flight.
• Gerson Morazan, 19, of 297 S. Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested March 21 and charged with possession of marijuana (3rd offense and possession with intent to distribute MDMA.
• Jason Reed, 29, of 200 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested March 20 and charged with reckless operation of a vehicle, driver’s license suspended, no insurance, DWI (2nd offense) and Schedule IV drugs.
• Donald Green, 28, of 633 Rene St. in Bridge City, was arrested March 17 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest by refusing to ID, speeding and fugitive from another agency (five counts).
• Kristie Dufrene, 42, of 17342 Hwy. 631 in Des Allemands, was arrested March 17 and charged with possession with intent Schedule II, possession of clonazepam, prescription required for legend drugs, use of firearm with CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule III and possession of unidentifiable firearm.
• Michele Corley, 47, of 159 Melonie St. in Boutte, was arrested March 19 and charged with being a fugitive from another agency (seven counts), speeding, license suspended, no insurance, no liability security, possession of hydrocodone, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of CDS law.

Incidents

• Two dirt bikes were stolen from a locked storage container located on Gassen St. in Luling March 19.
• A bottle of alcohol and $200 was taken from the victim’s vehicle parked on Pioneer St. in Hahnville on March 18.
• A 4-wheeler was taken from in front of a residence on Kinler St. in Luling on March 17.
