John “Johnny” W. Schaubhut, 86, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Thursday, March 26.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. , Wednesday, April 1, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, La. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Schaubhut is survived by his son, Bertrand Schaubhut and wife Erica; sister, Mary Marcel; three grandchildren, Jessica Cortez and husband Ferdie, LonnySchaubhut, Philip Woods; three great-grandchildren, Courtney Crockett, Dylan Crockett, Heather Cortez and two great great grandchildren, Caden LeBlanc and Myah Cortez.He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. Schaubhut, sons, Lonny and Philip Schaubhut; parents, William and Cecile M. Schaubhut; brothers, James “Jimmy” and Lloyd Schaubhut and sister, Diana Folse.
