Saints fans, feel any vindication? Well, I know, I know it isn't as sweet as seeing the Saints win the World Championship but seeing Peyton Manning do it is a nice silver lining. Going into this game you got the feeling that it would be a game of firsts, and it certainly was.

Nick Saban ... liar, maybe ... good coach, absolutely
January 10, 2007 at 2:19 pm
You have an argument if you say that Nick Saban's return to college football as the coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide brands him as a "liar" or even "job jumper". In the same breath you have to say "oh boy" - the Tide just became a formidable opponent in the SEC overnight.

Playoff hopes fading for HHS - can Tigers turn it around? Playoff hopes fading for HHS - can Tigers turn it around?

Whatís next for 5-2 Hahnville? A key District 5-5A match-up against the 3-4 John Ehret Patriots, thatís what. Games donít get any bigger than this as the Tigers desperately need a district win. If they get caught looking ahead to their showdown with undefeated 7-0 Destrehan a week down the road - and lose to the Patriots - their playoff hopes dim. My prediction? I expect Hahnville to bounce back - and jump right back into the district race.
