The St. Charles Soccer U-10 girls soccer team won first place at the Strawberry Cup.

Hahnville High School retired the jersey of former ace pitcher Aaron Loup last week. Loup made his first appearance as a major leaguer last July as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays and picked up his first win this season.

The No. 9 Hahnville Tigers (25-7) completed a season sweep of Destrehan with a 3-0 win on Tuesday to clinch the District 8-5A title.
