Last Tuesday was a historical day in our Nations history. For many outdoorsmen, as for myself, it was a day off to take care of hunting and fishing needs, too. The weather was clear, cool, with light winds. It was a perfect day to be off.

Hahnville may have gotten off to a slow start last week, but when their offense finally warmed up in the second half, there was no stopping them.

The Destrehan offense came out on fire against Dutchtown, with running back Henry Lenox leading the way with 122 yards on only nine carries. Destrehan ended the regular season with their most impressive win of the year, stomping all over Dutchtown 42-7 to secure their second straight undefeated regular season and second straight district championship.
