Off to College February 28, 2007 at 2:26 pm PLAYER OF THE WEEK This week's Off to College and Beyond Player of the Week is UNO shortstop and DHS grad Tyrone Wethers who was 2 for 6 with 4 runs scored, an RBI and a hit by pitch in the Privateers' home opener victory over Southern last Tuesday. He was also 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, an RBI and 2 walks in the teams' victory over New Mexico State on Saturday. And on Sunday, he was 1 for 4 with a run scored and a walk in the Privateers' loss to New Mexico State. |

In the game, a victory over Loyola, he scored 20 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Last Thursday, he had 9 points and an assist in the team's victory over Mobile. He also had 2 points, a rebound and an assist in the team's victory over Tougaloo last Monday. |
