VACHERIE - The 31st Annual Oak Alley Plantation Bonfire is set for Saturday, Dec. 1 from 7 p.m. to midnight on the home’s grounds located at 3645 Highway 18 in Vacherie.
Tour guides dressed in antebellum dresses and a brass quintet will lead the traditional parade through the illuminated alley to the levee for the lighting of the bonfire.

The Mardi Gras Brunch will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at 9 a.m. and the Mardi Gras Coronation Tea is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Hahnville Center located at 626 Pine St.
The 12th Annual Mardi Gras Ball will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Jerusalem Shrine Temple Mosque located at 1940 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan.

DESTREHAN - The grounds of Destrehan Plantation will transform this weekend into a showcase for the manor's annual Destrehan Plantation Fall Festival.
