DESTREHAN - The Jerusalem Shriners will present a haunted house through Oct. 31 at the Shriners’ Center located at 1940 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan.

Hours are 6:30 p.m. through 10 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. All proceeds benefit the Shriner’s charitable causes.

Ordinance would make developers pay

Once a developer puts drainage, sewer lines, roads and light fixtures in a subdivision in St. Charles Parish, the builder of that subdivision has a year to guarantee the work.
