A 19 year old was listed in critical condition at University Hospital after he fell from a float in a St. Patrick's Day parade.

A Luling man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder of a police officer after his run in with a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s deputy last Wednesday in which the man tried to run the officer over with his car.

Cell phone theft ring targets Walmart, 3 arrested - 2401 views
Three people have been arrested in connection with the theft of thousands of dollars worth of cell phones from a Baton Rouge Walmart. St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are now looking into whether the same people could be involved in a similar theft that took place at the Walmart in Boutte.
