Ingredients: 2 (16-ounce) cans vanilla frosting, 2 (16-ounce) frozen pound cakes - thawed, 1 box thin chocolate wafer cookies, 1 (0.68-ounce) tube black decorating gel, 1bag Twix Fun Size Bars, 1 bag M&M’S milk chocolate candies.

To the Editor:

Rathborne Land Company has been actively involved in the effort to bring levee protection to the west bank of St. Charles Parish for many years. Despite our efforts, we have been viciously attacked by certain individuals and groups and actually accused of blocking the effort to build a hurricane protection levee.

Though Hahnville held a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead, Destrehan was able to battle back to tie the game at the end of regulation. The Wildcats then struck last in the second overtime to claim a 31-24 victory. Both teams must now bounce back from that emo Now What?

Though Hahnville’s mascot is a tiger, it was Destrehan who most closely resembled LSU last Friday night, as the Wildcats clawed their way back from a 10-point, fourth-quarter defecit to pick up the double-overtime, 31-24 win.
