Native Americans meet at pow-wow

HOUMA - The annual “Calling of the Tribes Pow-Wow” will be held March 20 through 22 at the Terrebonne Livestock Arena located at 221 Moffet Rd. in Houma.

Native Americans from across the nation will gather to share their heritage and culture. The event features gourd dancing, intertribal dancing, drums and dancers, and a drum medicine tail.
