The St. Charles Parish Library is offering a folk workshop led by a local contemporary folk artist and an electronics workshop for teens during spring break. Hank Holland, a contemporary folk artist from Lockport, will lead the workshops for students in grades four through eight. Everyone who attends will create a unique piece of art to take home. He will appear on March 31 at 10 a.m. at the Hahnville Branch, 14996 River Rd. The St. Charles Parish Art Guild sponsoring 3-day art workshop

PARADIS – The St. Charles Parish Arts Guild is sponsoring a three-day “Functional Art with Acrylics” workshop featuring artist Madeleine Neske, the commercial art and fine arts instructor known for co-creating the New Orleans nonprofit “Young Artists, Young Aspirations” Program.
