NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A federal appeals court is poised to review a judge's verdict last year in the first trial among hundreds of lawsuits that Mississippi homeowners filed against insurance companies in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath.

On June 24, 2007, an Armed Robbery took place at the Rose Casino, 10405 U.S. 61 St. Rose, Louisiana at approximately 8:06 a.m. During the robbery an unknown black male entered the business and robbed three cashiers at gunpoint.

Walmart cell phone bandits likely not from St. Charles - 1541 views
It appears that three people sought in connection with the theft of 23 cell phones from Boutte’s Walmart last week are not from St. Charles Parish and have committed similar robberies in other areas of the state, according to Sheriff Greg Champagne.
