St. Charles Community Health Center, a not-for-profit health clinic, has announced that they are administering flu shots for $15 as long as supplies last. Two thousand shots are now available.

The Destrehan Wildcats escaped St. James on Friday with a 10-6 victory, closing out their non-district schedule with a 5-0 record. In order to mirror that record in the second half of the season, the Wildcats will have to go through some tough opponents, including tomorrow's John Ehret Patriots.

Paul Brackens III, 23, of 2008 Golfview Dr. in LaPlace was arrested on Sept. 26 on Janet Drive in St. Rose and charged with relative to theft for approximately $1000, relative to theft for approximately $400, relative to theft for approximately $200, relative to possession with the intent to distribute a schedule two controlled dangerous substance to wit marijuana and he was a fugitive of St. John Parish.
