Jose Aman Ta’bora passed away on Saturday, June 9 at 1:24 p.m. in LaPlace. Husband of the late M. Hortensia Ta’bora. Son of the late Daniel and Maria Rapalo Ta’bora. Father of Jose Aman Ta’bora, Jr. Allan E. Ta’bora, Ledda Montellh, Mayra White, Mirna Rodriguez, the late Daniel Ta’bora and Sergio Ta’bora. Brother of Elan Ta’bora, Ofelia Vitanza, the late Tito Ta’bora, Fernel Ta’bora, and Rosa Soto. Grandfather of the late Michael Jason Montheailh. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Age 92, a native of Honduras and a resident of Destrehan. Mas of Christain Burial at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13 at Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Interment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan. Visitation at Alexander Funeral Home in Norco from 9 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, June 13.

BOUTTE - Wal-Mart Supercenter in Boutte will be hosting it’s Fourth Annual Women’s Health Fair Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Some of the services offered by the various sponsors will include vision screening, blood and glucose screening, mammography information, healthy cooking demonstration, self defense instructions, cardiopulmonary resuscitation information, early child care information, mental health information, power walk and fitness workout demonstrations, fire safety demonstrations, with various other health related activities.
